Amber

Amber is warm without tipping into orange, and that’s the balance we care about. When the lamp is off, the shade reads as a rich honey tone; when the lamp is on, the fabric glows through the amber in a way that makes the whole light source feel warmer than the bulb alone would. We tend to recommend amber for rooms that already have some warmth in the palette, woods, leathers, terracottas, though it also works as a counterpoint in cooler, stone-coloured spaces. The amber range is small by design; we only use fabrics where the colour holds up under lamp light without going muddy.
