Description
I have made shades for people who knew exactly what they wanted, and for people who stood in the studio for an hour and changed their mind four times. Both are welcome. But when you are buying for someone else, a gift card is the kinder thing. They choose from our extensive range of handmade shades, and nothing has to come back.
Everything is made by hand in my Sandton studio, one at a time, in cottons and linens I have collected over years. A card can go towards a mini shade with a ruched skirt, a gathered shade for a bedside lamp, a bobbin lampstand, or a base and shade together.
How it works
- Choose an amount from the dropdown, or message me on WhatsApp if you’d like a different one.
- Add a name, email and short message if you would like me to send it straight to them. Leave those blank and the card comes to you, to give in person.
- The card arrives by email as a code. They enter it at checkout.
Good to know
- Valid for 12 months from the day you buy it.
- More than one card can be used on the same order.
- Any balance left over stays on the card for next time.
- Cards cannot be exchanged for cash and are not refundable.
- Delivery is worked out at checkout, and can be paid for with the card.
Not sure how much to give
Most of my shades sit between R650 and R1 900. A shade and a bobbin lampstand together is the one people choose most often for a new home. If you are stuck, send me a message and tell me about the room. I am happy to help you land on a number.
