Cream

Cream is the foundational neutral for most of our catalogue. It’s the ground colour sitting underneath the florals, toiles, block prints, and leaf motifs. Warmer than white, softer than ivory, it works in nearly every room and lighting condition.

Even a plain cream shade carries character because of the gather. The pleats create subtle shadow play across the cone. We use cream cotton and cream-grounded printed fabrics, all hand-gathered in our Sandton workshop. Cream is the safest choice when you don’t want the shade to compete with the room, and it pairs cleanly with the Beaumont bobbin base in amber, brass lamps, or natural-wood stands.
