Crimson

Crimson is the deep red. Library-and-leather territory. Warmer than scarlet, richer than burgundy. It makes a statement without shouting, which is why we use it for shades meant to anchor a room rather than accent it.

Our crimson shades are gathered by hand in our Sandton workshop, typically on cottons where the colour carries depth from gathered pleats and diffused lamplight. They suit studies, sitting rooms, and principal bedrooms with wood panelling or leather upholstery. Pair with the Beaumont hand-turned bobbin base for an unapologetically traditional look, or mount on an existing brass or ceramic stand.
