Abstract

Abstract patterns give a shade rhythm and interest without asking the eye to read a specific motif. For rooms where florals would feel busy and figurative prints too loaded, abstract is the quieter answer.

Our abstract shades are gathered by hand in Sandton, cut from fabrics where the print works with the pleating rather than against it. They suit contemporary sitting rooms, gallery-wall hallways, and rooms already carrying strong colour elsewhere. Set one on the Beaumont bobbin base for a contrast between graphic shade and traditional turned-wood stand.
