Navy

Navy is the colour we go to when a room needs weight. It anchors a side table or console in a way that a lighter shade can’t, and it pairs particularly well with brass, burnished wood, and cream walls. When the lamp is off, a navy shade reads almost like a small architectural object sitting on the base; when the lamp is on, the fabric lets through a surprisingly warm pool of light because the inside of the shade is lined pale. Navy works across quite different rooms, which is why it ends up in our most varied set of customer homes; it’s quietly flexible.
